The very best gardens always seem to have a wide variety of delicious and
the Ensenada region…attractive plantings. Tomatoes, corn, green beans, cucumbers, herbs and spices… the variety of choices is almost endless. The same thing is true for ministries that labor in God’s garden.
Although God has called Agua Viva Ministries to labor in His field that is the country of Mexico, he has given a particular spot in the city of Ensenada and the surrounding seventy-five miles of countryside. God has given us a heart for this garden, and He has taken our feeble efforts and used them through His Spirit to turn this area into a very fruitful and precious place for ministry.
Just as there is almost no end to the plants that can be sown in a vegetable garden, so there is almost no end to the ministries
the Children we love!we are sowing in this area. In this newsletter, we want to acquaint you with a few of them. The articles will give you more detail than this map can show, but here is a broad geographical view of a few of those ministries in this "garden" we call Ensenada: (we refer to this as our Missions Partnership Experience (MPE) where we uniquely combine American & Mexican resources in the beautiful country of Mexico).
In the same way that God has many different ways of cultivating His gardens…clearing the ground, plowing, sowing, watering, weeding, fertilizing, and harvesting. He has provided us with many different types of resources to
assist in our work in His garden.
Here are a few of them:
This map shows where in Ensenada these ministries took place in 2008:
We minister in a 75 mile radius
Soccer is big…8 sports ministries the local community, where soccer was played and the Good News was shared!
All this took place in the midst of having groups participate in our Power
Additionally there we’re 5 Power Weekends in 2008!Weekends that helped build the new Seminary facility. We are blessed to minister in very creative and varied ways. We uniquely combine American and Mexican resources to provide very unique ministry opportunities.
