Maria Garcia

Maria Garcia lives in a two-room house. One of those two rooms is the kitchen and the other is a bedroom, where she sleeps with her three children and two grandchildren. Her husband left her three years ago and ever since then she has worked cleaning houses and, earning about $75 dollars a week, is the sole provider for her household. She is asking for an expansion of her house, to make living and sleeping more comfortable for her growing family.
