Anyone upgrading smartphones?

Imagine the communications barrier at Agua Viva being broken down.  Imagine Brent at his house in town talking to people at the camp as a free phone call.  Imagine another staff member in the US calling the kitchen at camp without long distance charges.  Imagine Fabiola receiving a call on her smartphone that came in through our system—while she is at a coffee shop.

We want to revolutionize our phone system.  Currently we are using a system that is over 20 years old.  We want to replace it with a free system.

Yes, that’s right.  A free system.

One catch:  We have to replace our old analog phones with IP phones and smartphones in order to use the system.  These phones are not free.

This is where you can help us.  If you, or anyone you know, have a smartphone (iPhones and Androids) that you are no longer using, you can donate it to us.  We can use the smartphones as regular extensions on our system.

Also, if you know of any businesses that are replacing their IP phones, we can also use those.

By improving our communications we improve our ability to reach Mexico for Christ!
