Spring Break "Really Good, No really GREAT" News!

The dust has finally settled after several weeks of a wonderful "Spring Break".

  • We had 250 students from Westmont College in Santa Barbara come and serve throughout Ensenada.
  • Another American youth group came and helped with recreation staff for our youth camp for Mexican youth. It was absolutely wonderful! We had over 300 campers! Many commitments were made and lives were changed!
  • Last week we had 2 American groups serve in 4 medical clinics, 2 VBS, 2 womens and had 2 simultaneous construction projects. Whew! It was crazy-busy, but exciting to see the Lord’s hand orchestrate all the activities and change lives in the process. We had groups coming and going and serving as usual and we did not any safety issues whatsoever.
  • Generator for Solar Grid...just donated!!Generator for Solar Grid…just donated!!We also have just recieved a great donation… one of our supporting companies just donated a 40 Watt generator.  This again, will save us in electrical costs in the long term, it is part of our Solar "grid" for the new Seminary;  we will have power 24/7 at our Seminary facility.

Crazy times in Mexico! Between the media press regarding border issues and the swine flu; we are spending a lot of time in prayer. We are more and more convinced that the Lord uses turbulent times, such as these, to bring us to our knees and rely more on Him. We continue to see the Lord’s amazing provisions and have seen His unfailing heart for Mexico! We are praying that this is just a short season of "hiccups" and hopefully the fear factor will soon be eliminated from people’s minds.

We serve an awesome Lord!!

Ps. 32:7 "You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance."
