Thanksgiving at the Ranch

Thanksgiving at the Ranch

What a wonderful way to spend Thanksgiving.  We were so blessed this year to have Temple Baptist Church form Lodi, California come and share Thanksgiving dinner with us.  They brought down turkeys, stuffing, sweet potatoes, regular potatoes, pie, and all the fixings that make Thanksgiving dinner special.

Monday through Wednesday they spent time working on remodeling a bathroom in one of the staff houses and other small projects there.  Then, starting Wednesday night with the sweet potatoes, they started cooking.  Michelle and David  stayed up and watched Charlie Brown’s Thanksgiving  numerous times while all the pies cooked.  Janet, Hilary, Jenny, and Kelly, got to work on the sweet potato casserole.  On Thursday, every oven at Agua Viva was occupied with turkeys, casseroles, and stuffing.  Calvary Chapel Mission Viejo, who came down to serve with Pastor Carlos Drew for the weekend, came just in time to enjoy this great feast that was prepared.  It was a great time of fellowship with these two groups and the seminary students at Agua Viva.

Thank you to all who baked, cooked, stirred, and mashed the food for Thanksgiving this year.   We are thankful for you.
