The Power Weekend Begins...

The first day of Agua Viva’s first-ever Power Weekend brought together 16 visiting friends from the United States, two MTI seminary students, and the Agua Viva staff - all working together on the seminary building.

Then second story steel deck was almost completely laid into place (see photo) and should be completed today, Saturday. In addition, two cement foundations were poured, one for a solar building that will provide power to the new building, the other for the stairway leading up to the second floor.

Morning devotionals are teaching us to be encouraged about the role we can play in building God’s kingdom and reminding us of the importance of what we are doing. At the evening service we heard from local Pastor Ramon Ruiz (also an MTI professor and Agua Viva board member) about the power our thoughts can have when turned over to God.

We are keeping with the theme verse of the weekend: "For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of POWER, of love, and of self-discipline." 2 Timothy 1:7. Power Weekend Schedule....Power Weekend Schedule….
